Was this all in a single dive? If so it was pretty eventful. Any thoughts on what got the Octopus that left some arms behind? Thanks for posting.

That video was from 2 dives, although I saw pretty much the same thing on both dives. I don't know what was going on with those octopus tentacles tangled in the kelp. I looked for fishing line, thinking it might be bait, but I didn't see any. I think the best part of the Breakwater is the variety of rockfish. On those dives I saw 11 species.
