It seems like it hasn't been fixed yet, is there a workaround other than enabling UAC?
It's strange, that this little software is the only one I have encountered so far that gives trouble when the UAC is turned off.

At the start of OceanLog I get the message "You do not have the appropriate license to use this functionality".

I am running Windows Vista Premium and UAC (User Account Control) is turned off
I am running the software as an administrator.

There is a UAC patch coming in just a couple of days...

Doug:

Will the UAC patch also be applicable for the Aeris version of the software?
When will the Aeris ACI software be available (beta or otherwise)?

Doug -

This is GREAT to hear.

I hate re-enabling uac just to fire up oceanlog.

Thanks for continuing to support us vista non uac users!

Whohoo!

It was addressed while finalizing the beta version of the AERIS program - so yes, it will be applied there. I am expecting to release the AERIS beta on Monday.

Good news. I will be looking forward to it.

Doug -

Nice work.

Installs, works and seems to have a ton of improvements.
What more could we ask for?

Auto saving after changes?? Nice!!

Cheers,

Justin
