Oceanlog not working in metric system

I have an Oceanic GEO and i :(use Oceanlog to register my dives. The software has the option to change between imperial and metric. I don't know why this check box is grey out. My Pc has Vista but i also installed in another with Windows xp. The software is in the latest version.
