I took my VT3 out on its first freedive session last weekend. After downloading the dive data to Oceanlog, it compressed 93 distinct dives down to 56 logged dives. It appears that many of the successive dives were combined into a single logged dive. Below is an example where it combines 4 dives into one. You can clearly see it read 0 feet at many points. I understand that in normal/gauge dive modes, dives within 10 minutes are considered a single dive. However in freedive mode, that should not be the case, and I don't see anything in the manual which discusses this in regard to freedive mode.

In many cases, successive dives with short surface intervals were correctly recorded as distinct. But there were quite a lot of dives which were logged like this.

Is there a setting I can change to make sure each freedive is logged separately, or a procedure I can follow to ensure each dive is recorded as distinct?

Thanks!

-Josh
