Are there enough similarities between the VT Pro and the VT3 that I could learn the VT Pro by taking an online VT3 class?

The VT Pro was marketed 2002-2006, the VT3 2006-11. The two computers look pretty similar, perform very similar functions. The VT Pro is single gas, 2 button. The VT3 is 3 gas, 3 button. I've been diving a VT3 for 8 1/2 years, am very familiar with it. The menu system and setup for the VT Pro is quite different than the VT3, partially due to 2 buttons. I don't think the VT3 online class would be all that valuable to you. The use of the VT Pro is pretty simple and adequately described in the manual.
