Hello all....My 12yr. old son did his first two open water dives today on his way to his 'c' card with his new VT Pro computer and it stayed "on" for several hours after the dives, and now 8 hours later it's still "ON" with 'FLY 14:57 onthe screen. I know it's counting down but is this normal for the screen to display for so many hours and not go into 'sleep mode'? I've read the handbook and it says the computer will remain on for 120 minutes after it's dry. Can this be correct? I've been diving for years with the Uwatec Aladin and now with the Smart Z and after 3 minutes they go into "sleep mode" (on screen). Leaving on Monday for Little Cayman {OH YEAH!} so any info on this will be greatly appreciated....Art

Check the owners manual. My Aeris ATMOS AI dive computer does the same thing as your son's VT Pro. I think you will find that after 24 hours have elapsed the computer will shut off.

Right you are! I dive the VT Pro, and yes, it says on for the countdown.
