I assume the data cables for the Geo and Veo 180 are basically the same, with just a different attachment at the computer? Does anyone know? I have a Veo 180 w/ cable and just bought a Geo 2.0. I'm not buying a $90 cable.

I know the connector is different, but I'm wondering if the circuitry is the same? It would be easy to make an adapter to go from 3 pins on the Veo cable to the 3 ports on the Geo 2. But I don't think I would deal with making a new serial/USB converter.

BTW, I love Oceanic's note "Hold finger on cable to ensure connection" for the Veo.
