Hi All,
I have a Oceanic ProPlus 2, that when I turn it on, it just shows CSM on the display:confused: , and then turns itself off.
I have searched online, and the complete manual, and can find nothing about it.
Anyone know what can it be and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!

When first activated, our computers perform a diagnostic check. CSM is an error code (not sure what it is off the top of my head) - regardless, it will need to come back to the factory for service. Contact the guys in our service department - they will provide warranty service, or provide pricing for non-warranty service, RA#, and help you with the best shipping option from and back to DR. (800) 435-3483, (510) 562-0500 or service@oceanicusa.com.

Don't mean to hijack this thread but while we are on the subject my Pro Plus 2 displayed 65L or 65 with and upside down reverse 7 (hard to tell which) at the top of the screen. The computer is locked on and won't switch modes. Last night is was working fine and I used the Oceanlog USB cable to download 13 stored dives. I put the computer back in my dive bag and when I opened it this morning the computer had that crazy display and wouldn't budge. Fortunately I was able to salvage today's dives by borrowing a set of guages and another computer. I've already turned the computer back in to my locale authorized Oceanic dealer who had no idea what was going on. They will be shipping it back to the factory but just wondering if this is also some kind of "error code" and if so what it means.

Hello, I have the same computer, before i send my computer anywhere i take the battery out for atleast ten minutes and the put them back in sometimes the buttons get pushed while in reg. bag and the computer goes into a program mode. This has helped me a couple of times.

Lobster yeah I thought about that but the last time I had the batteries changed in mine and my wifes they both flooded. This was with the "authorized Oceanic dealer" that we bought them from doing the switch. Oceanic eventually replaced both computers but it took us a couple of months. When it happened we were on the first dive of a 14 day cruise in April on the Wreck of the Rhone in Tortolla. We had 7 other dive trips lined up throughout the Caribbean and no functioning computers. That was my first bad experience with the Pro Plus 2. I'm thinking seriously about getting a backup for situations like this. I may call the shop in the morning and give them the go ahead to yank the battery, reinstall and see what happens. Otherwise I am looking at at least a one month turn around. With my old (ancient) air only Oceanic hockey puck I used to change batteries myself once a year and be done with it...never any problems. These PP2's make me nervous. BTW, I'm in the same area as you. Once again Dom sorry for any hijacking.
