After diving Morehead we got home and immediately soaked all of our gear in a tub of water over night. Kates computer was pulled out the next morning to find it recorded a 5 ft dive for 9hr59min in a few inches of water and kept doing a 2 min count from
:01 to 2:00 then it would start over again. I read the entire manual to no avail. I tried resetting the depth alarm and turning it off but nothing would stop it.

Any ideas on how to fix it?
 
Randy, I had a similar problem (8 foot dive for 9:59) only it had been rinsed and removed from the water.....couldn't figure it out, Local Dive Shop couldn't figure it out...although it seemed to be working normally after the 10 hour dive, I had no confidence in it. Ended up sending it back to Oceanic and they sent me a rebuilt PP2....not sure what the issue was.
 
Thanks Jeff. We are diving today at the aquarium, so I guess we will find out if being under pressure will fix it or not.
