I have a VT3 and I am debating between upgrading to an Atom 3.0 or VT4.

Is the VT4 thinner than the VT3?

Also, Is the VT3 oceanlog USB cable compatible with the atom 3.0?

The VT3 and 4.0 housings are physically the same. The VT3 cable will be compatible with the 4.0, but not the ATOM.
