Oceanic GT3 w/ CDX5 ??????????

Hello everyone,

I'm thinking of buying an Ocianic GT3 w/ CDX5 (DVT). As I'm new to diving and this is my first regulator buy, I was hoping to get opinions from anyone who used one. Should I get one??? Money's a little tight and I wanted to know if it's a good buy at $239 NIB from an ebay store.

That is a real good buy! The GT3 is a great reg. The CDX5 is environmentally sealed, easy to service, and I've had mine to 155 feet in 38 degree water and under the ice. No issues at all. I;d buy a GT3 over any of Oceanic's regs right now. Nothing wrong with any of them just really like that combo as a user and as an Oceanic service tech.

I second Jim's comments. I have a couple of them and I am very pleased with them, no problems at all.

Good reg system. Just make sure that it is from an authorized dealer so you get the factory warranty. If it isn't contact me and I will sort one out for you at about the same price range.
