Hi,

I recently received an Oceanic Delta2 2nd stage with it's manufacturer's supplied second stage. I was told that the 2nd is a CDX5 but am not certain. Anyway..... I need to put my octo/reserve 2nd stage on the first stage. All ports on the 1st are obvious as to use and I pressure tested them. My question is this. One LP port has a capital "R" stamped over it. Am I correct in assuming this is a designated port for the octo/reserve 2nd stage? That is where I have it and it works fine but I was just wondering.

Thanks,

Toe

No, the Oceanic first stages, the CDX and the DX4 are stamped with an R to indicate the primary port. It is the equivalent to the Sherwood PRI port or the Apeks enlarged port. It is designed to be used with your primary regulator to giveyou extra air flowin that hose. I know that it is the one that is angled backward, but it is intended for your primary. Put your octo on the one in front of it.
