There is a big hoop a lah going on about this dvt system on the new oceanics.
Is it really going to protect your regulator that much?
I have a friend whos sold on it but i dont know if i am.
please help us out.

Or if you accidentally drop it in the rinse bucket. I'm too anal about my regs to make it worth it for me. When I got my backup GT3 w/CDX5 I specifically bought a non-dvt because of this and also because oceanic had a helluva deal on leftover first stages w/out the dvt. Shoulda got another one.

In my opinion it is very convenient.

I still handle my req just as if it did not have DVT but that is just me. It is just good to know it is there.

It is like asking if it is worth having insurance.....

Delta 4 from Oceanic has it and it is a great reg.

This seems like a great feature on the aeris and oceanic regs to me. Takes some of the worry out.
