Ocean Encounters Curaçao has partnered with the Curacao Sea Aquarium to take over management of the Animal Encounters product. Animal Encounters offers divers and non-divers alike the opportunity to feed Turtles, Sharks, Stingrays, and large schooling fish like jacks, permits, and tarpon, in a controlled environment.
Animal Encounters also has an underwater observatory to allow all members of the family to join in the experience, wet or dry. Combining the animal expertise of the Sea Aquarium with the expertise of Ocean Encounters Curaçao is a natural partnership.
Ocean Encounters Curaçao already has partnerships with the Dolphin Academy, part of the Sea Aquarium Group, offering exclusive Dolphin Boat Dives in open water. The success of the Dolphin program is proof that expanding the relationship of both companies is good for business and tourism in Curacao, said Jeremiah Peek, manager of Ocean Encounters Curaçao. Animal Encounters will be part of the activity menu available to all the clients of the Sea Aquarium and Ocean Encounters Curaçao.
Bookings will work as usual with other programs.
