Ocean Divine Deep South - Any tips?

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone has any tips for the deep south itinerary in Maldives or Ocean Divine liveaboard?

We'll be starting in Male and ending in Addu over a 12 day period.

Any tips or info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is it worth taking a tour of Male? Otherwise we'll just hit the market, maybe a mosque or two...

We're arriving in Male early in the morning the day before our liveaboard, so we'll have all day plus a half day before we board.

We're staying at Paralian in Hulhumale on a beach. We'll explore Hulhumale beach as well, which is a minute or so walk.

We get breakfast at Paralian, and we've found some highly rated, reasonable restaurants/cafes for lunch/dinner.

Are there any places that we should see in Male?

Does anyone know if there are bloodworms in the Maldives? If so, I'll bring a hood for night dives or explore a headband or something. TIA
