Hey Guys,

Just purchased a beautiful shiny new OC1 Pioneer..

Besides the black on black, one of the primary reasons I purchased the Pioneer was because it was advertised as having a "diamond coated lens" which I assume would help guard against scratches. Has anyone scratched their Pioneer lens yet? Should I use the lens cover?

Which one do you recommend I use? the lens cover or the lens protector? Or are you meant to use both? Whats the purpose of a 'diamond coated lens' if I have to put this ugly crap on it?

Once thought the same about a Stinger for five seconds.
Scratch it and get it over and done with.
Then store it in a jar inside a fish tank so you won't see them.
You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din.

a friend of mine has the nemo exel with this anti-scratch thing and its scratches , the only truly scratch resistant screen is a full sapphire crystal screen , i took one of those phone plastic protector things for the screen and cut it to my screen size , its faily thinck and works like a bomb ,,,i havnt taken car keys to it though, the problem with the coatsis thatyes they do protect against minor scratches , but if its hard enough the layer gets taken off :(

p.s. its a beautiful computer was looking at 1 at my LDS
