Saturday found the delaware divers heading out of oc with the usuall suspects aboard and a couple of new faces including one local legend doing some shake down hours on his appocalipse. We went south looking for warmer water and got skunked. We dove a ww1 freighter that still has some decent relief and a sea of plates to go with the boilers. The bottom temps were 47 to 50 depending on whose puter you chose to beleive. Mine said 47 and it felt like it! Brrrrrr
I saw a lot of juvenile taug and flatties. The black sea bass were abundant but they max out at a really good sandwich. The bug situation was a lot better given the plates a plenty, everyone who wanted one got one including our resident "blind squirrel" who never gets anything. All in all a good day on the water on lake atlantic as conditions were glorious for the trip.
