My Oasis seems dryer with nitrox than air. Is there a reason?

Higher O2 content usually results in a dryer mouth, regardless of which reg you are using.

I think that the oxygen cylinders are drier because the oxygen would enhance the corrosion so extra care is taken to ensure dryness. Make sense?
