Do any of you regulator gurus know if a SpareAir regulator can be O2 cleaned? Im sure it can be washed with degreaser, but are the seats, internals, etc., compatible with 100% O2?
DISCLAIMER: Yes, I know that the SpareAir instills a false sense of security, only newbs with more money than sense carry them, not a replacement for a buddy, arent necessary with proper gas management...
Im investigating using one in a non-conventional manner that I would rather not publicize at this time. For my application, the integrated first- and second-stage SpareAir regulator would be very beneficial, but it will have to be safe with 100% O2.
I didn't do a search, but I'm willing to bet this question hasn't been asked before.
Thanks,
