Hi,

I've been out of the water for almost 2 years, due to a variety of medical things, but will soon be returning to diving.
My question: the o-rings for my housing have been "waiting patiently" in their plastic bags.
I'm not sure, if I ordered new ones, that they would have spent any less time "sitting" in a warehouse.
Are they still viable to use? They appear to be as pliable as ever.
Any other photo-related considerations after a lengthy layoff ??

Thanks in advance,
Mike

If they've been protected from air and daylight they're probably as good as new. Grease em up and go ...

Suggestion though, if this ever happens to you again, would be to apply a thick coating of silicon grease to them and store them in an air tight zip lock back in a dark place.
