Anyone know where to purchase an o-ring for an Olympus PT-10 housing for a C-4040.

Backscatter still has a page for it, but says discontinued, out-of-stock, and call first.

There's a store on ebay called "J-store" that carries a lot of o-rings, but they don't go back beyond PT-015 or so. I didn't see a contact number to check, either.

You might try a generic o-ring supplier, if you can measure the diameter and gauge fairly accurately. Like oringswest:

Here is the size for your back door o-ring for the PT-010
Back door O-ring: Part code: POL-010. ID=133mm (approx. measured), d=3.5
Taken from here:

You might want to try RTRski's advice and get one from http://www.oringswest.com/

That site sells Red Silicone 70 o-rings. This thread mentions the use of silicone 70 durometer in U/W housings as well.

Or if you can read Japanese, you can buy it from Oly Japan.

Good luck.

I think you will find Yuzo in Japan the least expensive and best source for that O-ring. He is the owner of www.uwdigitalcamera.com

I use the same housing and have purchased O-rings from him as well as grease and lenses.

E mail him first and get a quote on price with shipping. He will answer you promptly and send you the O-ring via Japan Air Mail and you will have it in less than a week.
