Your best bet for meeting up with New Yorkers is in Dive NY, your local forum

It's an opt-in forum, but signing up is easy and the folks are great.

I also suggest Dive NY. The people are great, and they go to Dutch Springs in Bethlehem, PA sometimes. It's a great training Quarry, and you will meet other folks there, even outside of the Dive NY crew. Nice place. Have fun & dive safe.

Good morning Melissa. I have to echo NC Wreck Diver and ColinB's comments about DNY. They are a great group of divers and people. I have dove with them on several occasions and am never surprised at just how friendly and outgoing they are. They are always happy to dive with a new member and everybody is welcome.

Here is where to find them. You will have to request membership but nobody is refused .
