I know that the Caribbean in general is not prolific for nudibranchs and flatworms like the Indo-Pacific, but as I am heading to Bonaire in mid-May 2015, I want to ask the regulars about chances of spotting such critters on the reefs. I am a big nudibranch fancier and am building a photo gallery of as many as I can. I am going with VIP Divers and so to some extent might be able to request specific reefs to dive.

I still have not seen a nudibranch in bonaire... Headed back in a week. An certain dive sites they are more common at? Depth?

Great pics thanks!

Hintermann....please be aware that the nudies on Bonaire tend to be very small and very well camouflaged. Then again...there is a method of finding them a bit easier and you are signed up for that method...UV night dives!!!

Please remind us in May that you would like to see nudies and other macro stuff and we'll do our best to find you some cool critters :-)

I remember seeing a dozen frilly green and white nudis at Salt Pier shallows.

Those lettuce nudibranchs are everywhere in Bonaire. But they are the only ones I've commonly seen. I guess I need to go diving again with Bas!
