November GBR Dive Trip

Hello-

My husband and I have the opportunity to head out to the GBR in late November and didn't know if that was a good time of year to see the reef or if we should wait (this will be our first visit). My main concern is that I've read November is "Stingger season", is this true and is it a big problem? Thanks for the advice!

Yes it is Stinger season until about May, but you can wear a stinger suit. Take the advice of the operator you're going with and it should be fine.

People dive the reef all year round. As Livinoz says listen to the advice of the operator you go with and you will be fine.
