Looks like a really cool Nova on this week. Check your local PBS station for details in the U.S. For those of you elsewhere in the world...not sure how your TV works... BBC or other programing,

Cool thanks for the heads up, I will definatly tape & watch it.
Deep Sea Detectives did an episode on that very subject, but I will watch it anyway.

If this is what I'm thinking of, I'll probably pass. Most of the divers kick silt up everywhere and have crap hanging off of them to the point that I was cringing as their backup regs and consoles were sliding over and banging on stuff underneath the divers.
Because...you know...let's bang up those priceless ancient treasures with our pressure gauges. ;)

Well if that is the case I will still watch, but my wife wont. She hates it when I yell at people on TV doing things that I find offensive.

Uh, well, according the the clip on the website, they are excavating the city. I'd like to see you do an underwater excavation without creating any silt.:rofl3:

I don't have a problem with them kicking up silt from excavating--but when they're just kicking over the sand? Why destroy the great vis with silt from your own kicking? Why let stuff dangle and bang into the 'sunken city'?

</rant>
