Recently, I could not post t0 the Marketplace and the Notice said I had to Opt in. It would be nice to list the steps to Opt in within the Notice instead of having to search for the steps.

It IS in the "notice"--see the Special Rules in the Classifieds forum: PLEASE READ - Special Rules (TOS) for the Classified Section -Current

Yes, but add HOW to join a user group is the suggestion. Simple.
You would join the Marketplace user group the same way you would join other opt-in user groups: through your Account Settings. I'm not trying to be snarky, but maybe the Special Rules for Classifieds is not the place to educate members how to set up their account to opt in to groups generally. When you became a member, you probably went to your Account Settings and saw the Preferences option and adjusted some settings to customize your experience. Wouldn't that occur to most members? That said, there is a sub-forum for Frequently Asked Questions under Discover ScubaBoard, and I did not see one about setting up the basics of one's account. Maybe there should be one!

Ok, so here is another dumb old guy that cannot find the OPT IN in his profile. So yeah, maybe a small blurb on how to do that would be beneficial, especially for us non-computer and forum savvy folks

I thought I was computer savvy until this easter egg hunt. I am thankful others have had similar issues so I could find the secret to the marketplace group
