I'm not sure they actually know the answer to that question though it was touched upon.

It's interesting that there are reports of more great whites along the eastern coast of the US this year.

A researcher for the state of MA claimed hundreds of GWs were counted off the coast of Cape Cod this past summer.
Maybe we'll see Orcas off the coast of the Cape soon too.

If South Africa wants GWs back they should consider protecting the seals, it worked for MA and CA
