Not getting sub. thread notifications

I am no longer getting notifications for threads I am subscribed to. I have gone back in to my profile to check and see what I am signed up for (daily, none, etc.) and I think I have the settings correct. Is it the system (possible), or have I done somehthing to stop them (probable)?

Once stopped, you will need to re-subscribe to the threads in order to make them active again.

OK, I have un subbed and re subbed, and also added new subs and still no notifications. Next suggestion?

Are you using a spam filter?

Yes, but it is placed in a folder that I can review, it's not just deleted.
