Most of the times I dive when I come out of the water I have a little nose bleeding. Not anything serious, I just wipe out my nose and it's over. What could be the problem and is there anything I should worry about?

shiran, you don't share with us how long you've been diving. however, i am going
to assume you are a new diver, since nosebleeds are much, much more common
with new divers, due to two reasons: failure to properly equalize (i.e. late and violent equalization) or sinus squeeze.

(i am not a doctor; these are just the most common causes)

A small of amount of bleeding from the nose on occasion is not unusual in scuba, especially in the newer diver. It can be caused by delayed or overly vigorous equalization techniques. A review of proper clearing methods may prove very helpful.

If there is bleeding on every or most dives, or copious bleeding on any dive, you should follow up with an ENT.

This is educational only and does not constitute or imply a doctor-patient relationship. It is not medical advice to you or any other individual, and should not be construed as such.

Best regards.
