anyone got some experience with diving in peru? especially at north? i found something about punta sal but low on information everywhere! thx!

Yes they are the only dive shop up north. The water will be cold due to the Humbolt current. Not a lot of reef's. Diving around the piers are ok but a lot of line and active fisherman to worry about. Spent 14 yrs in peru and dove a lot with the military. I am a warm water wuss but there is always things to see. Watch out for trawlers and net's. It is rustic diving there. Have fun.

The New Spondylus Escuela de Buceo is good! I am currently in Mancora myself. They dive of various beaches, piers and best of all of the oil Platform. They have lots of good info about the area and seem happy to tailor dives to individuals.
