Hey all...
New to both the board and diving. Wife & I got certed (PADI open) back in March while on vacation in Cozumel, MX. Heading out this weekend for our Advanced Open. All this to be ready for our trip to Australia in October to celebrate my birthday, with 4 days on the Spirit of Freedom live-aboard.
So far the sport and people have been great....although we've changed the name of our LDS to "Bank of Scuba" given how much we've spent...and we're trying to keep it all on the cheap (or should I say "in-expensive").
Psyched to be part of the group and anyone who's been to Oz (or is lucky enough to live there) feel free to send any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, do's and don'ts for our trip.
