Hiya,

Has anyone dived at exmouth or coral bay in the ningaloo marine park? It seems that most of the diving happens at exmouth but coral bay looks like a much more chilled place. Would you recommend one place over the other for diving? Any recommendations for particular dive shops ? Also, I am interested in a liveaboard trip, again any recommendations?

Thank so much in advance for your help.

I've dived at exmouth but also stayed at Coral Bay. Coral Bay is just magic - regardless of what you decide give yourself a few days there - i ended up enjoying relaxing and snorkelling more than the diving at exmouth.

I think for diving though, you might need to spend some time at exmouth. Accommodation there is not great unless you spend a fortune (which was worth it). Most of my dives were cancelled - weather, not enough people, so i can't comment too much on the quality of diving. However, Navy Pier is an absolute must. I have never seen anything like it, you couldnt' see as there were too many fish in the way. I had to go with a different dive company to do it - but believe me its worth it!! For the rest of you dives, Exmouth Diving Centre ( i think thats their name), despite all the cancellations, are really good.
