Nikonos Lenses?

I'm looking to buy a used Nikonos 15mm lense for my old Nik II. I checked with Southern Nikonos (they refurbed my camera) and Bob wants a minimum of $225 to service the 15mm. Has anyone had a nikonos lense flood or generaly crap-out? The price is good on the 15mm but if I add the $225 refurb cost it is'nt such a screaming deal.

I'd buy it contingent on passing a pressure test and optical checkout. There's not much to these.
