Hi all,

I have a Nikon 6006 that I'd like to buy a housing for. I know digital is the way to go but I hate to let this camera go to waste. Anyone know If there is even a housing made for this? If anybody has pros or cons please let me know. I've taken plenty of top side photos but nothing underwater yet.

The camera is just one of three large costs for underwater photography. A housing and strobe are the other two parts. To go with the 6006 you will need to find a discontinued housing. just make sure it's from a company that will continue yearly service for the housing. I shoot an old film camera, a F3 . Finding everything you want will be hard and expensive.

By all means shoot film if that is what you enjoy. We do this as a hobby and the primairy decision should be what _you_ enjoy, not other people. The most economical way to shoot film underwater today is to go on eBay and find a compete setup on auction. You can find a N90 with housing for next to nothing.
