I have a Nikon D50, I did a search for other threads on that model but wasn't able to find any..

Just wondering if anyone uses this camera and what type of waterproof housing etc they use.. I'm interested in outfitting my camera.

Thanks.

Hi,

I use a D50 in a Sea and Sea housing. Have done about 100 dives with the camera without any problems. It can be a bit fiddly changing aperture and speed as there is only one control for both. I use two Inon strobes with the camera set on manual. Exposure adjustments are made after looking at the histogram. I am happy with the quality of the camera and housing. A housing for my D200 would be nice but unfortunately it is beyond the budget at the moment.

Hopefully this was of some help.

I have a good housing for the D50 on my website. Works well, customers like it.

Before you buy a fantasea housing do a search and you will find someone who claims to have had big problems with one for an Olympus E-330.Something to look at before you buy one.
