I have a D40 and I want a Sea & Sea case for it. Will it fit the RDX-D60? Or do I need to upgrade? I plan on getting the Tokina 10-17 lens for underwater and I have the Nikon 18-65 for terrestrial.
Thanks for any help.

cldomsom1,

Like Chuck said D40, D40x, and D60, are the same form factor.

Nikon produced them like this.

First came the D40 to market. (6.x mp)

Then Nikon took the D40 in the same housing/body and changed the internal sensor to 10.x megapixel as the Nikon D40x.

Nikon later came back and replaced the D40x with the D60. The only differences were a self cleaning sensor, slightly different firmware and the default 18-55mm lens now came as "VR".

But they all have the exact same body and the exact same controls.
