My media card (SD card) door broke on my D40x.

I've found a replacement door online... but how the heck do you get the old door off the camera?

It's got two screws, removed them, but it won't come off.

are there secret/hidden screws or what? (I've tried gently prying it out of the grove with a small screwdriver, but it didn't budge.)

attached is a pic of what the broken off door looks like. (in case that helps anyone).

thanks for your help..... -mike

to me it seems the door assembly is "two parts".

one is the door itself, and the other is the base/mount for the door.

from this pic (see bottom pic), it looks like it's just two screws and perhaps two tabs that slide into the housing.

I've taken the screws out, but can't seem to get it to "slide out" :dontknowwhy:

reference pic. (the two screw holes on the left are where the visible screws go through)
