How about a Nikon D7000?

Nikon D7000 camera: $1200new
Tokina 10-17mm FE: $600new
Nikkor 60mm macro: $600new/$400used

Nauticam D7000 housing: $3100new
Nauticam 8.5inch dome: $580new
Nauticam macro port for 60mm: $310

I like the Nauticam viewfinder and thats $1050new.

Then a Pelican 1620 hard case to carry it all in at $250.

In other words not much change out of $10,000 after you buy a couple of memory cards.

Regards Mark

Well im going to take the peak buoyancy class and i have a Snapper HDDV
im not so worried about flooding as long as you keep your or rings clean and lube with no debry
im pretty confident I have 2 seadoo scooters that never flooded on me since i always maintain the seals...

sorry what i was trying to get at through this thread...this is sooo expensive....
I own the hardware already i dont own the housing and accessories
