I posted some pictures yesterday at the above link that were taken with the L11. My Ikelite housing was FREE so I went with it. The camera is pretty simple which depending upon your needs may be good or bad. It will not take RAW pictures and it is limited in your ability to use manual settings. Other then that it seems to take good quality pictures. I have many more pictures I took at Morrison Springs yesterday posted on my Photobucket site.

Let me know if I can help with anything.

I used the Ikelite D51 strobe. Morrison Spring is very bright and clear so most of the pictures did not require much flash except in the cavern. In order for you to get good pictures at depth you will have to have a strobe....the flash on the L11 will not be enough.

The last picture you are talking about, is that the one in the dive report that is the sunset?? If so, yes it was taken with the L11. I might have closed the exposure down on that one just a little bit to emphasize the sunrise. The L11 doesn't give you a lot of manual control options but you can make the exposure less or more.

Let me know if I can help.

Thanks!!! That really helped it seems like it takes the pictures that I want!

Did you use a strobe? and that last picture you posted did you take that with the L11?
