I have a 3200, picked up a fantasea underwater housing for $50 on ebay, can't beat that!

Anyways, the topside quality of the pics are fantastic with this camera, and I'm curious, if for underwater, do I "need" an external strobe? Also, what sort of setting should I use for best quality underwater, I'm not really familiar with all the different settings, so any help on that would be great. I turned on "vibrant color" and "flash always on"...

Also, what strobes would you guys recommend? Something simple and basic, I'm just taking pics for fun here. Nothing expensive, lol...

Hope to post some nice pics soon.

My wife shoots with the same camera inside a Nikon Wp-CP1 housing, with an adapter for S&S lenses.
I am planning to give her a strobe package, and I am in the same doubt of vr24...
I have thought of the S&S arms with the LX-15 lights.
Anyone experienced with shooting compact with tungsten lights?
