I'm curious as well, checked one out yesterday for my D80. Playing with it in the shop it looks like it would be a decent all around lens. It focuses down to about a foot or so. It's a film lens so it's actually about 36-127 or so? Not VR but not sure that actually matters much. Just making the change from Nikonos to digital so don't really know much yet
