Here's one of those "you know your a diver when.." stories.
Buddy doesn't have much furniture because he spends all his money on dive gear.
Were sitting on his bed, an inflatable camping bed, discussing what else ? diving of course. When he proceeds to pull out an inflatable couch and start filling it with nitrox and a 2nd stage whip with the 2nd stage disconnected. Asking him jokingly if he thinks there's any dangers with filling a couch with enriched air we learn that the bed we're sitting on was filled with 100% O2 when he had no other less expensive gas around.
Later that night the inflatable couch burst's ontop of a beer cap.
We fixed it quickly with a Viking patch and continued with our diving conversation/beer drinking.
