I am interested in finding out more re the nexus E3. Peoples experiences and if there is anywhere I could get one second hand and what it would cost? Also I understand they come with Olympus port mountings. Is that correct?
Thanks the help.

Hi graffa

I currently use one of these housings. It came with an Oly port mount as you state.

Not too sure what other info you need, if you could be more specific I will try to give you some answers.

thank you for reply have been reading a couple of reviews on it and was wondering why it seems to have not been that popular. Have tried to find one but they seem to be very scarce. Once again thanks for the help and think will wait to find out what the news is re the housing for the E5.

Hi,
Nexus E3 seems to be an outstanding uw housing, unfortunately it is a very rare one, especialy in Europe.
It was my first choice when I decided to buy a housing for my Oly E3, but, as soon as I figured out, it was an impossible task to find one in France, or even elsewhere in Europe ! So I bought à Seatool OME 3, which is a great choice. It is a very good alternative to the Nexus and, imho, a very good and safe housing, well build and easy to use with both the 14-54 (with precautions) and with the 50 f2 macro.

Bye

I have had both the Nexus and SeaTool housing for the E-3. Both have a mounting system for the Olympus type ports, those from Olympus, Athena and Inon. The SeaTool allows you to mount the Inon 180 or 45 degree finder which is a great addition. SeaTool allows you to pop the flash up and down for fiber optic use. Both housings are very well made and you will be more than happy with either one.
