I have upgraded my camera system and am looking to sell my old one. I have had this system for 4 years now and it's served me very well.
- Nikon D70 camera body (6.1 meagpixel), excellent condition, no dust on the sensor. With battery, charger, card, etc.
- Nexus housing body (aluminum), 2 Nikonos-style bulkhead connectors for strobes.
- MP105 Flat port for Nikon 105 mm macro lens (Not a manual focus port; autofocus only.)
- WP170 dome port (9 inch) for a wideangle lens. Works well with the Nikon 16mm fisheye lens. With aluminum shade.
- WP7 glass dome port, unused, useful for a 28 mm or so lens.
- Upgraded eyepiece w/extra adjustable diopters that you can install.
- Extra housing handle.
- Extra bulkhead (strobe) connector.
- O-ring grease, spare o-rings, etc.
Never been flooded. It's in good condition, a few nicks and scratches. There are a couple of minor scratches on the large dome port that do not affect underwater image quality but are noticeable if you shoot through the port above water. If you want to do a lot of over-under work this port probably won't work for you. Underwater it works fine. I'll be happy to send some images shot through this port in its present condition.
NOTE:
This is NOT a complete system. You will need the following for a complete system:
- strobes (1 or 2)
- strobe arms + clamps
- a 105 mm macro lens. I used a Nikkor lens, a Sigma lens would (probably) work
- a wide lens that works with the WP170 port. I used a Nikkor 16mm fisheye, other lenses would probably work. Check with Nexus on that.
Retail prices from Marine Camera:
Housing body $2568
WP170 port $803
WP7 port $525
MP105 port $395
D70 camera $200 on eBay
----------------------------
$4491
Sell for $2000
