newbie...is turks and caicos okay for me?

Hello All, This is my first post. Planning a trip to Turks and Caicos for end of September. Staying at the Regent Palms. I like the sound of Caicos Adventures based on the forums on here.

I got my SSI certification about two years ago, and I've logged 12 dives in the Riveria Maya and Aruba. I haven't had any problems with my buoyancy. I've been to 80 feet, no problem. Am I experienced enough for the dives in the Turks and Caicos? What are the typical depths for the wall dives?

Also, I hear the diving in the Turks is great. It should be the best I've seen, right?

You should be fine. Just be up front about your experience level. The dives are all little or no current. The wall dives just require that you check you depth more often. If you stay above the DM you will have no problems.
 
Perfect option for your experience. i have to second the recomendation to watch your depth on the walls. The visibilty is quite good there and depth can be deceiving.
And , yes, the diving is great...enjoy!
