I am looking at BC's and I am leaning toward the Seaquest Pro QD or the Cressi S111. I am a big guy, so some brands XL's are too small. I am also open to others suggestions or comments.

I'll be the first, for once, to recommend a BP/Wings. As a self-described big guy, the added bulk of a traditional BCD may be a little much.

I'm a pretty big guy also: 6'3" and 210#. I dive the SeaQuest Balance BC with no problem ... even when I weighed 235#. It's back-inflated and had little or no inherent bouyancy. I like the "snap in" clips on the weight pockets, along with the swivel clips and the lack of a cumberbun.

Can't compare it to the ProQD, though.

I have and dove a long time the SQ PRO QD....loved it....

Now I dive a bp and wing and wish I had started there. Unbelievable.
Find someone you know who owns a bp and wing and will let you give it a try.....and I mean a real bp and wing...not just a bogus semi back inflate bcd
