Hi all! Thought I should post an intro before I get too deep into threads 
For over a year now, a good friend of mine has been suggesting that my wife and I learn to dive. We've both been interested for a long time and after a quick "try scuba" in the pool (friend is an instructor) where the pool was just 5ft deep, I was addicted.
(My wife is pregnant with our third kiddo so won't be diving or certifying until early-mid 2016.)
I've done all my classwork and passed my written test. This weekend we're doing my CW sessions then next weekend we hit a lake (old quarry) to certify in OW!
I'm very excited and am trying my hardest not to buy any gear until after certifying and doing a couple dives...
