Newbie here!!

Hi everyone😊
Just wanted to introduce myself.I've recently completed my open water certification.i was lucky enough to do this at the Red Sea in Egypt. I like socialising and making new friends,especially around my main interests,marine life,travelling and diving.I build and maintain reef aquariums and currently own a large marine set up.
Hopefully my next step will be the open water advanced and nitrox.
Look forward to talking to you and learning from you all.I'm currently looking for some diving equipment and any advice on the best equipment to buy would be welcome!!

Welcome to SB Jon! Congrats on your new certification! As far as gear recommendations, it depends on what you are looking for. Welcome Jon! So glad you've joined such a great group of people - divers! I feel so lucky at the end of each and every dive. In terms of gear - I tried a few different types of BC via rental gear before deciding on a final purchase. I'd recommend gear that you and your dive career can grow with (i.e. avoid basic options that you'll want to replace in 2 years). I got a great deal on gear via SingleDivers.com.
