Hiya .....

I did my third after certification dive in St Thomas Coki Beach in November and it was great! Dive masters were from Florida. I was on a cruise ship and got off for the day with all my gear and found the closest dive shop to find out where to go. A short taxi ride later I was set for a great dive. It was a guided dive which being a newbie myself I thought was great. Cost me $50 US for one tank beach dive. It was the same price if I had used their gear. Boat dives seemed to run around 60-100 US for 2 tank dives. Best dive I had was in Dominica, just me and a local lady dive master. $40 US for a personal tour ! I do not this you will have any problems finding dive buddies as most are done in groups. Just look around, should be loads of info on sites and shops on the net. Enjoy that wonderful warm water and keep safe....

Hi Stanleyman,

Thanks for the info and advice - it's very helpful. Coki Beach is easy to reach from St. John - I will look into the dive shop there.

Warm regards,

John
