Hi Guys and Gals,

thought id say hi, im Andy from the Isle of Man and have recently started in this new world of underwater mischief ;) . Makes a change from my last hobby which was building and playing with 4x4 challenge vehicles here on the island.

so..... Hi all :D

Now if i can ask a question of all you more experienced divers out there ??? I am only a few dives off my PADOI OW and i am thinking of buying some kit... Im thinking of looking a bit further than the entry level packages as rather than replace / upgrade later on, i thought id get some 'quality' kit to start with.

Can i beg some thoughts on the following please.. (URLs edited for 5 post rule :) )

Mares Dragon AT PLUS BCD
(the air trim one... looks nice and i like the look of the AT mechanism)

The Poseiden Xstreme regs ( i would get the Poseiden octopus too )

now i have heard stories of flu like symptoms from these regs but can anyone offer sound opinions on this please?

finally, the Suunto Vyper Air with transmitter (i work in I.T. so i like this idea lol)

thank you in advance ... newbie needs guidance lol.

cheers AndyG. :D
